“How did I pull it off?”

When I was eight years old, I was dismissed from school for misconduct, and my parents had to travel across the nation requesting other schools to let me study there. I was an outcast.

I performed so poorly in my primary school leaving exams that I was denied from ALL of my preferred secondary schools and was sent to Ping Yi. I was intellectually challenged and always the slowest in class. I failed four of the eight subjects I was taking, and I eventually found myself at the bottom of my whole cohort.

Not only was I a lousy student, but I was also physically and psychologically exhausted. I had weak social skills, was bored and disinterested, and I was immediately classified as a “problem student.”

I joined the Boy Scouts in an effort to gain vital skills and broaden my social circle, but I was kicked out after just six months because I couldn’t pass the most basic exam required to qualify as a scout. I didn’t bother trying again.

To make matters worse, my relatives were exceptional scholars who attended the top institutions in the country. As a result, I came to believe that I was born lethargic, slow, uninspired, and maybe even stupid.

Like other unhappy kids, I became addicted to TV and video games, and I allowed myself to go into a catatonic slumber in order to avoid the suffering.

In desperation, and almost as a last resort, my parents decided to send me to a 5-day training camp for teens. And little did I realize, that would be THE defining moment of my life.

I found a mental technology called Neuro-Linguistic Programming and have been using it ever since.

I literally changed!
