Our Fighting Pistol training prepares you to win a real-world violent fight, and many of our students have done exactly that! This rigorous course covers an astonishing amount of content in just two days and is said to cover more than any five-day course at the “major institutions.”

The purpose and characteristics of the pistol, legal considerations of lethal force, physical stopping power, mental training for fight, mobility, and communication are among the topics covered. Live fire drills involve one- and two-handed shooting, firing on the move, employing cover and concealment, loading and reloading, using both eye level and retention tactics, and shooting from a variety of body postures. This course involves roughly 40% lecture on attitude, tactics, technique, and legal considerations, but don’t worry, you’ll still be shooting at least 750 rounds on the range!

LOANER Weapons AND Ammunition – Please use only fresh brass cased factory loaded ammo in our loaner firearms…or your own guns for training. Whether it’s a bolt gun (only match grade), a semi-automatic pistol, or even our shotguns, we’ve discovered that brass cased ammunition runs more smoothly than steel or aluminum. We realize that the AK-47 was meant for steel, so that’s OK. We also understand that brass cased ammo normally costs 10-15% more than steel cased bullets, but after investing so much in your training, why would you want anything less than the greatest ammo to get the absolute MOST out of your investment? If you insist on using steel, please don’t tell us that our firearms won’t function…they operate just well with brass. It is REQUIRED that you clean and lubricate your loaner gun at the end of each day of instruction and before returning it.

*You will only obtain a certificate of completion if you participate in class 100% of the time. Being late, leaving early, refusing to perform exercises, and other closed-minded concerns will result in you not earning a certificate for this course. At your desire, an amended certificate will be mailed at a later date.
